New Home Update

Well, we are officially home owners now. It seems surreal. I can't believe it, really. It's been a crazy week though. Noel and Grace were kind enough to let us start working on the house even before we closed. We started ripping carpet out last Wednesday morning. For the last week I have been removing staples, removing tack strips, sanding, sanding, sanding, staining and then sanding it all off. Tonight is the first night I have been home before 11:15 all week and boy does it feel good. We were hoping to move everything in on Saturday, but because of a SNAFU with the hardwood floors that we are refinishing, I'm afraid the floor won't be ready for us to move in to until Monday or Tuesday. Definitely puts a bit of pressure since we have to be out of our rental house on Tuesday.
