New Year's Resolutions...

Resolutions are funny to me sometimes. Exercising seems to always be on the top of people's list. This became very apparent to me when last week at the Y there were about 3 or 4 people there when I was there. I went last night and I had to wait for a machine.

One thing JR and I are going to try and do is read through the Bible in a year. JR found that www.studylight.org will email you your passage everyday. I was pretty excited about that. Click here to go to the website if you are interested in signing up.

We had a wonderful Holiday. We got to spend a lot of time with JR's family which was fun. This Christmas was a little different for us in the fact that our kids are getting to the age where they actually like getting clothes and games. No more annoying toys all over. Yeah!!

JR got me a TomTom for Christmas. I have to say I love it. I am a little directionally challenged, so having this thing on my windshield telling me exactly where I am and where to turn is awesome! I definitely like it a lot! One of the coolest features about it is it will tell you what time you should arrive at your destination. We were coming home from Grand Rapids on Christmas Day and it gave us a 1 hour and 15 minute arrival time. We were driving about 78 the whole way home and it can tell how fast you are going so it is continually adjusting your arrival time depending on your speed. This is defnintely something I will be using daily :)

I am a little sad to see my kids go back to school. It's been a great two weeks home with them. I definitely begin to realize how much I love being at home. I don't like going out all the time. I like being home, being able to keep my house clean, and just being mom and wife.

So, there's a bunch of random thoughts that are in my head right now. Happy New Year!
